My First JHole Trek

We stopped at elevation 9,000 feet or so for lunch at Holly Lake


20 miles in 8 hours, elevation gain of almost 4,000 feet-some of the most spetacular views I have ever seen (we could even see Lone Mtn)-I will post more but I wanted ya'll to see what I have been doing.

Exploration 101

So another weekend came around (our second in Jackson). The household went out and hiked around the park-kinda a gloomy day but nice to explore what I like to call "our backyard"!

The household went out for a hike in Cascade Canyon on our first Sunday-Brian, JD, and me--Brian and JD are very close!!!!

This is home!! We hiked up to the top of Snow King our first Saturday, our house is to the right of town. In the back to the left are the Tetons, and Jackson Hole Resort.

This is the part of the trip that I was uber sick, but we got to Michigan and met up with Johnners, went to dinner, went out, hung out and had a blast. It was a bit foggy in town but it reminded me of Vermont and Cape Cod mixed in one! More to come.

Vermont-Sunset Rock

We got to Vermont and had a raging night at the Tavern with Jayson's band, the Scramblers where we boogied down. The next day, Curtis got us up and we hiked up to Sunset Rock, everyone else was helping prep the wedding, so it was just the trio of us! Foliage was just peaking!
