Targheeeeeeee!

Another good day on the other side of the pass! I have gotten some complaints from my higher power that there aren't enough shots of me!!! Sooo....there! The real eye catcher would have been a shot of my sexy board, but I couldn't take the attention away from me for once!

My Boss's House!

I had to house sit my boss's dog and cats for a week. Such an interesting use of architecture-I had to take some shots and show ya'll! I should have taken more pics of the rest of the house but oops!

Sorry for the lack of attention

My apologies to all that view! I have been soooo busy. Winter is here and I have been determined to have as much fun slashing pow as I have been working-while trying to fit in sleep and food!!! I have been hiking the pass, riding the resort, climbing, working at the Cadillac, and managing the employee housing units for the resort!! AHHHHH! wooooh!

I have had some amazing views on the pass, but too busy to take pics-SORRY-I promise to get some soon!!!

Gobble Gobble Gobble!

Happy Turkey Day-a bit late!!! Adrienne and I hiked up Glory on the Teton Pass for some turkey turns!! Then to a friends house to eat the most delicious sweet potato cheesecake that Adrienne made! Sweet day in some backcountry!

First Turns 2007/08

Adrienne (an old friend from Sugarbush that had moved to JHole) and I went up the pass on 11/13/07 and hiked for some sick, fluffy turns after the first clear day post storm. Kinda funny, since the route we chose (eidleweiess) wasn't getting much traffic and the boot pack or lack there of was none existent. Everyone was skinning up that day so there was no actual boot pack. Adrienne and I, being boarders had to strap our boards onto our backs and hike, making fresh tracks through waist deep snow. The killer part was that every step we took we would be above the snow and then all of sudden just fall through! Yeah! We called that phase 3, and phase 3 sucked, but it was worth it because phase 4 was a super delicious long run with a couple little drops, deep deep pow, and some fallen trees! Phase 1 was the hike up the road to trail, phase 2 was a some quick turns down to the valley where phase 3 started up, phase 5 was the hike back to the road, and phase 6 was strapping in and taking some turns to get back to the car! Yeah for winter-FINALLY

10,000 miles and counting!

My First JHole Trek

We stopped at elevation 9,000 feet or so for lunch at Holly Lake

20 miles in 8 hours, elevation gain of almost 4,000 feet-some of the most spetacular views I have ever seen (we could even see Lone Mtn)-I will post more but I wanted ya'll to see what I have been doing.

Exploration 101

So another weekend came around (our second in Jackson). The household went out and hiked around the park-kinda a gloomy day but nice to explore what I like to call "our backyard"!

The Green Team!

The household went out for a hike in Cascade Canyon on our first Sunday-Brian, JD, and me--Brian and JD are very close!!!!

Jackson, WY

This is home!! We hiked up to the top of Snow King our first Saturday, our house is to the right of town. In the back to the left are the Tetons, and Jackson Hole Resort.
